Parks and Public Spaces

We feel strongly that landscape architects are best placed to design these cherished places – but we would say that as landscape architects! Not only do we provide a range of hard and soft landscape design skills we also bring horticultural know-how, empathy with site users, an appreciation of ecological matters, an understanding of how spaces should be managed and an ability to design them to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour. We work with a range of clients – local authorities, community groups and private developers but they all share the same objective to improve the quality and value of their park or public place.

Our principal is an Assessor and Mentor on behalf of the Heritage Lottery Fund assessing and guiding groups as they make bids to their heritage parks and historic townscapes grants.

We provide the following range of specific services in this subject area;
